Job Description

Lead focused technology initiatives while contributing real-world technology management expertise that helps improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role centers on project planning, vendor oversight, team coordination, stakeholder reporting, and quality delivery across multi-quarter initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive project plans that define timelines, deliverables, resource allocation, scope, and constraints.
• Coordinate external vendors and ensure deliverables meet established service-level agreements.
• Guide project participants, support cross-functional collaboration, and resolve conflicts to keep work on track.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and facilitate timely decisions.
• Provide concise, actionable written and verbal updates on status, risks, and outcomes for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle and ensure objectives are achieved.
• Contribute practical insights and feedback that support continuous improvement of AI models trained on technology-management scenarios.

• 6+ years of experience leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with end-to-end ownership, including planning, vendor coordination, and delivery of results.
• Demonstrated team management, cross-functional leadership, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills in complex projects.
• Proven vendor-management and negotiation experience with external technology providers.
• Experience establishing, monitoring, and enforcing SLAs, including reporting on vendor performance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex progress updates clear and useful for varied stakeholders.
• Experience producing actionable project documentation and executive-level reports.
• Background leading or contributing to projects where insights informed process improvements or technology-adoption decisions.

• Remote contract engagement.
• No prior AI experience is required. Technology-management expertise is the primary qualification.

• $70 to $130 per hour.
