Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: Performance-Based Commission Structure | Strong Potential Earnings
Conduct client consultations to understand design goals, lifestyle needs, style preferences, and budget requirements
Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
Create space plans, furniture layouts, color palettes, material selections, and design presentations
Prepare drawings, renderings, and visual presentations using CAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software
Guide clients through furniture, fixture, finish, and product selections
Manage design projects from initial consultation through final installation
Coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, installers, and trade professionals
Conduct site visits to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications
Maintain strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals
Support business growth through networking, relationship building, and client engagement
3+ years of Interior Design experience
Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, and furniture selection
Experience managing projects from concept to completion
Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
Portfolio demonstrating interior design expertise and completed projects
Degree in Interior Design or related field
Experience with residential remodeling, custom homes, new construction, or commercial design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and project coordination
Certifications such as NCIDQ, ASID, IIDA are a plus
